About judy wolf

If you are on this page, then likely you are considering working with me and want to know a little bit more before you reach out. While the coaching (or supervision) process itself is all about you, a good fit is essential, so this page summarizes some of the qualities that I bring to the relationship that will help make the coaching or supervision experience truly powerful for you.

I’m an ICF-credentialed Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Advanced Certified Team Coach (ACTC) who works 1:1 with executives and high-potential young professionals at Fortune 500 firms, government agencies, small businesses, and nonprofits and with teams and organizations looking to deliver high value for stakeholders, improve communication and alignment, find healthy ways to address conflicts and friction, navigate change, and build trust and cohesion.

I’m also a credentialed coach supervisor, trained by the highly regarded Goldvarg Consulting and Renewal Associates programs in individual, group, and systemic team coaching supervision. I’m also a member of Renewal Associates (founded and led by Peter Hawkins) and am part of the faculty and team coaching supervision team for the Systemic Team Coaching program led by Professor Peter Hawkins and Dr. Catherine Carr.

Style & Approach

My coaching and supervision style combines cognitive, emotional, social, and somatic intelligences for a “whole person” approach to leadership and personal and professional development. My holistic work with clients, coaches, and organizations draws on my extensive background in communications, neuroscience, mindfulness, yoga, and mental fitness and helps you identify and build on your strengths while exploring the stories, assumptions, triggers, patterns, and habits that may be holding you back.

I view my role as one of a “thought partner” to you as we innovate and explore together, whether that’s in a coaching context where we’re aligning your actions with your aspirations or increasing your and your team’s sense of engagement, enjoyment, and effectiveness – or a supervision context that promotes a deeper sense of self-reflection, insight, and sense of being resourced and nourished. In both cases, my way of being tends to create a space in which we find ourselves making powerful connections as fellow human beings by tapping into intuition, insight, perspective and compassion, both for ourselves and others.

Credentials

In addition to being a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and holding an Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) through the ICF, I am an EMCC-Accredited Individual and Team Coach at the Senior Practitioner level, as well as an EMCC-Accredited Coach Supervisor (ESIA). I am also a certified business advisor and certified mediator who brings a well-established foundation of mindfulness practice into my work. My strengths include a high degree of emotional intelligence, innovative thinking, and communication skills, which translate into an open, nonjudgmental model and abundant curiosity in the coaching and supervision context.

I have a passion for and dedication to living in and exploring the “grey” areas of my world, and part of this means continually stretching my ability to host conversations and move with grace and humility in what can sometimes be uncomfortable topics and spaces. I also have a strong belief in the value and importance of integrating intercultural competence and an awareness of social justice issues and ecosystemic impacts into the work that we do as coaches. As part of this dedication, I serve on the board of directors for Coaching for Social Justice.
